Bayonet Scabbard
M7 Bayonet Scabbard for the M1 Garand 10'' Bayonet. This is a short scabbard and was adopted to fit the M1 bayonet when it was adopted in 1943. Originally the scabbard was designated M3A1, but in order to avoid confusion with the longer model, the designation was changed to M7. Other than the length of the body, the scabbard was identical to the M3, including the molded in anti-rattle ribs. The body was painted olive drab, and the metal was parkerized. (We are out for the ones with parkerized metal part. The ones we have in stock have the metal parts painted in olive drab by the US military.) |
